I love our community and the commitment our local coffee shops have to it.

On September 10th, six Western Slope coffee shops are participating in “Connect Over Coffee.” What is that? Here is what Kiln Coffee Bar said on their FB page:

Mental Illness and Suicide has been a growing issue in our community over the years. We’re not ok with that. We’ve decided to team up with some of our coffee friends to speak out and bring awareness to the issue. It’s the small things that matter. On Sept. 10 we are all offering 2 Free small espresso drinks (for here only) to encourage conversations and connectedness. To participate, grab a friend and tell your barista that you are here to “connect over coffee”. Let’s all do our part to connect and love on the people in our community.
